Profile

Dr. Nilay N Shah has completed B.E. (Electrical Engineering) degree in 200 from Gujarat University with Distinction and M.E. (Electrical Power System) degree in 2003 from BVM Engineering College, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, with First Class. He obtained PhD (Electrical Engineering) from Charusat University, Changa, in 2021. He has almost 17 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level. His research interest includes renewable energy integration, power system dynamics and control, power system modeling and simulation, power system protection and FACTS. During his academic carrier, he guided 70 BE and 5 ME students. He has published 8 papers in various international journals and 4 papers in various international conferences. He is working as a Reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Power System, IET Renewable Power Generation, IET Energy System Integration, International Transaction on Electrical Energy System and Electric Power Components and Systems.
