Prof. Nisha Shah, Assistant Professor, Information Technology Department is associated with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology-Vasad since December, 2011. She has total 27 years of experience out of which 19.5 years of academic and 7.75 years of industry experience. She completed 12th from GHSEB in 1989 with 87%, graduated in 1993 from Gujarat University with 61% and completed masters from Dharmsinh Desai University in 2006 with 64%.Some of highlights of contribution towards development and enrichment of the department and institute where currently she is working are:In addition to the regular academic duties, she was deputed as Head of Information Technology department for 4.5 years. Apart from that she isco-coordinator-International cell and actively organizing and handling the activities and work related to them. Before she joined SVIT, Vasad she worked as an Assistant Professor and Head of Department in Computer Science and Engineering Department at Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology for 3.5 years. During her tenure, the department have successfully complied for the NBA, NAAC and gathered approval to the PG course. She has worked as Senior Lecturer in Information Technology Department at Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology, Nadiad for 7 years. She has worked as System Analyst/programmer in Alembic Ltd., Vadodara for 2.5 yrs. The major development was in SAP-ABAP-4 in Sales Statistic and Payroll System. SheWorked on SAP R3 as core member for Sales & Distribution, Finance and Costing Module. I was actively involved in Change and Enhancement of SAP programs, Reports and Customization. During the tenure she was also awarded for best performance twice.For more than 5 years she has worked as Sr. programmer for various companies and contributed in system analysis and design, coding, and implementation of the system as per company’s requirement. She is life member of Indian Society for Technical Education.
