Prof. Mala H Mehta is working as an Assistant Professor in the Information Technology Department, SVIT, Vasad since August 2005. She is currently pursing Doctor of Philosophy in CE/IT Engineering from Gujarat Technological University. She has completed her Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University. She has also competed her Master of Technology in Information Technology from Karnataka state open university. She is having more than 15 years of experience in teaching at Under Graduate and Post Graduate level. Prior to SVIT, she worked at Encircle/Amtech Solutions PVT. LTD., Vadodara for few months. She has published more than 20 papers in various National/International Conferences and Journals. She has guided more than 40 projects at Under Graduate level and more than 5 Dissertation at Post Graduate level. She has attended more than 50 seminars, workshops, training programs and conferences. She has also organized one short term training program for the faculties and students. She has given duties as External Examiner at reputed Universities. She has worked as a program coordinator, which received GUJCOST grant of 12,000/- Rs. She is a Life member of Indian Society of Technical Education. She was the reviewer at many National Conferences. Her area of interest are Data base management system, Data Mining, Evolutionary computing, soft computing and Big Data Analytics.
