Profile

Dr. Neha Shah is working as Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering Department of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Vasad. She completed BE (Electrical Engineering) from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology(SVNIT), Surat (formely known as Regional Engineering College) in 2000 and ME (Industrial Electronics) from M S University, Baroda, in 2003. She obtained PhD (Electrical Engineering) from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, in 2019. She has more than 19 years of experience in teaching and research. Her research interest includes Power Electronics Converters, Renewable Energy especially Solar and wind based integration to Electrical Power System. During her academic carrier, she guided more than 40 BE and 2 ME students. She has published/presented 11 research papers at National & International journals/ conferences. She has delivered 02 Expert Talks. She has attended more than 20 STTPs, Workshops and Seminars at various reputed institutes. She has also organized 02 STTP and many workshops / Seminars.

Current Activities:

Teaching the courses at UG level in Electrical Engineering. Guiding UG projects. Departmental Coordinator of Result Analysis, student counselling and Scholarship committee.

Specialization Areas:

Power Electronics Converters, Renewable Energy especially Solar and wind-based integration to Electrical Power System.
